Santa Leticia

Santa Leticia is a selectora, music curator, DJ, and radio host on Worldwide FM,
known for eclectic sets that reflect her global musical journey.
Rooted in the sun-kissed lands of Andalusia, southern Spain, and now based in
Newcastle (UK), she pieces together soulful, percussive journeys across Latin
America, the Caribbean, Brazil, and Africa. Her mixes are a celebration of vibrant
sounds from these regions, with a rich backbone of jazz, rare groove, funk and disco,
tunes that move your feet and your soul.
A dedicated vinyl digger with a sharp ear for detail, her selections blend old school
rhythms with fresh, forward-thinking tracks. Her sound connects across diverse
scenes, shaped by constant curiosity and a deep love for music both local and
farreaching. A quiet force on the airwaves, Santa Leticia has graced NTS Radio,
Rinse FM and Soho Radio, and is now a resident on Worldwide FM, the station
founded by Gilles Peterson.
With a history of performances at the BBC Proms, EFG London Jazz Festival, We
Out Here, Lost Village, Kala Festival, Kelburn Garden Party, Knockengorroch
Festival, Tropical Pressure, Raindance Film Festival, and many more. Bringing
infectious energy, deep knowledge, and a distinct musical perspective to every set,
always on vinyl, always from the heart.
