Marcia Carr is a native Londoner of Jamaican descent who’s a seasoned club DJ andradio presenter. Highly respected amongst her DJ peers she’ been an intricate figure to the UK Underground dance music scene for more than three decades.
With DJ residencies currently at the infamous London’s Jazz Cafe and The Cause, Marcia continues to develop as an artist. Her signature style which is all encompassing, as she always plays deeper, soulful and jazzier induced sounds: Afro, Techno, Broken Beat, Nu Jazz, Gospel, Disco, Drum & Bass, or as she simply says “it’s quality black music”.
