Kyle Parsley is a genre-fluid DJ, promoter and co-founder of Type One Community and the long-running party series Shut The Front Door (STFD). Starting out as a rave-obsessed teen in the early 2000s, Kyle’s since evolved into a dynamic selector with over a decade behind the decks — known for effortlessly weaving through house, garage, disco and everything in between.

Whether it’s a boat party, club basement, or a festival stage, Kyle brings hi-NRG and razor-sharp instinct to every set. His eclectic style has seen him play at Glastonbury, Farr Festival, GALA, Night Tales, Soundwave Croatia and more — including an iconic B2B2B with Dan Shake and Flo Real.

As a passionate advocate for community and accessibility, Kyle co-founded Type One Community alongside JayU and Sophia Violet (Girls Don’t Sync) — a not-for-profit creating safer, inclusive spaces for people with diabetes who love music and partying. For Kyle, connection and joy are just as important as underground dance music.
