Cosmo Sofi is a London-based Uruguayan DJ, graphic designer and radio presenter whose sound is shaped by the UK underground and Afro-Latin roots. She has been curating music for over half of her lifetime. Driven by a curiosity to dig into the roots of genres and cultures, her sets move fluidly across jazz, soul, house, jungle, ambient, dub and beyond – music to connect with your soul, move the body and expand the mind. Equally at home in underground raves, renowned clubs, festivals, hi-fi listening bars, art spaces and immersive deep-listening sessions, Sofi crafts expansive journeys guided by feeling and message.

Her monthly Worldwide FM show Spectrums earned her wide respect, followed by a 2023 residency with Secretsundaze and performances across Europe, sharing stages with luminaries such as Gilles Peterson, Mr. Scruff, Joe Claussell, Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy and Coco Maria, with whom she also curates the bi-annual party Algo Ritmos.

She has performed at festivals across the world including We Out Here, Kala, Waking Life, Lost Village, Playtime and more, bringing soulful, conscious energy to dancefloors across Europe and beyond.

Cosmo has played Wild Wood once before as part of a Secret Sundaze takeover but we’re very happy to have her back as part of our world music day on Saturday up at the Sundown stage.
